More than two decade have passed but Prince William and Prince Harry are still haunted by the death of their mother Princess Diana. The princes were young adolescent when Princess Diana was killed in a tragic car-accident, William was 15 and Harry barely 12. In a recent interview, both admit that they are still striken with guilt particularly from the last phone call that they had with their mother as both were not keen on chatting. Harry confessed that he never cried much over her death and revealed “I think it was a classic case of don’t let yourself think about your mum and the grief and the hurt that comes with it, because it’s never going to bring her back and it’s only going to make you more sad. People deal with grief in different ways and my way of dealing with it was by just basically shutting it out, locking it out.” Harry’s bottled grief led to years of rebellion and ‘total chaos’, living the fast life, partying and drinking too much. William admits that he was in shock for many years after his mother’s death. Till today, he says: “There’s not many days that go by that I don’t think of her — sometimes sad, sometimes very positively. My mother lives with me every day.”
