1. Turn your phone face down and on silent.
With our attention wanted in so many directions and avenues, it is hard to really focus on one thing at a time. How can we expect to work on our goals when we are constantly distracted?
2. Place your alarm at the furthest end of the room, and perhaps try a new alarm tone?
Oversleeping can be very unhealthy and if your sleep schedule is off, perhaps something needs to change?
3. Keep a bottle of water with you wherever you go.
It is important to stay hydrated throughout the day. It helps keep you fresh and might even help you less.
4. Learn how to say no
It is not a crime to keep some time to yourself especially when you don’t feel like sharing it.
5. Keep a journal and share your thoughts.
It is not healthy to keep your thoughts and feelings bottled up inside of you. One healthy avenue of getting them out is by jotting them down in your journal. And if you decide that one of them deserves to see the light of the day, you can choose to share them with someone. It’ll be easier to articulate your thoughts since you’ve written them down anyway.
So what are some other changes you can make today. They don’t have to be big but they have to be something. Remember, it doesn’t matter how fast you are going as long as you do not stop.
