So I lost my mum a few months ago and frankly, I’ve been feeling quite numb. I had to force myself to cry and I felt quite unfilial. It’s not that I’m not sad but I think I don’t really know how to process the emotions. We were sorting out her room the other day and I could smell her everywhere. Every single thing has its associated memory of her and everything is just a reminder that she’s gone. It’s quite overwhelming but I am grateful I have my best friend close to me. She has been visiting me almost every day and it’s really nice of her. Sometimes, I look at her and think to myself what if I lose her to. That makes me very sad.
Anyway, I keep thinking about the last words she said to me. She was telling me that she knows I’m trying my best in school and that we should celebrate once exams are over. Oh well. I hope I feel better soon and get functioning because I really don’t want to let her down also. Im sure shes watching me.
