Picked as the UN ambassadors for the next generation and by the US White House to speak against Asian Hate, BTS is clearly the most powerful icon in our generation.
RM, the leader of BTS is so loved, not just for his incredible talent but for the person that he is. Sincere, earnest and responsible. We would agree with Pharrell William that the most defining trait of RM, is his humility.
For a person with so much influence, RM remains Kim Namjoon, transparent about how he feels and embracing his own humanity.
“I’m human, I get confused, sometimes depressed”
More importantly, Namjoon does not feel like he is too big a celebrity to ask for help and advise, not only for his music but also about his life.
“I’m still in the process and it’s tricky and confusing and I don’t know what is going to happen. Could you give me any advise.”
Thank you RM, for showing us that it’s ok to feel confused about an uncertain future and that seeking help and asking for directions in life is not a weakness but humility.
We love big bro Pharrell’s answer to the question, ‘No Nevers’. He replied to Namjoon. “Continue to move forward, continue to be curious, don’t put any pressures on absolutes, like saying I will never do this, just keep going for the ride.”
