You set off early in the morning and have been moving briskly through the day without any rest, but the destination is still a distance away and it’s almost dusk. You find a clear, flowing stream.

Do you stop to rest? Discuss as a group

Group Facilitation:

 

·       Stop and rest – Group answers 2 questions

o   How do you know when you are mentally fatigued? (1 pt)

o   What do you do when there is just too much on your plate? (1 pt)

 

·       Keep moving – Only half of the group members get 1 point.

 

 

Application:

While we all want to do a good job and excel, knowing our individual capacities will prevent burnout. How do you identify when you are experiencing fatigue? What can you do when you are burning out?
